Spooky Island Bouldering Competition Breakdown

Join us on Saturday, October 19th starting at 11AM for rules for the OPEN modified redpoint qualifying round WITH A FINALS ROUND at 7pm following the BEG & INT redpoint competition and party!

During the party, enjoy FREE Redbull, food while supplies last, local vendors, a costume contest, along with incredible beats from DJ Joseph Ntaimo.

The top climbers in each division will win prize packs from a pool of local businesses and climbing brands valued at $2,250. Pick your division and fight for the top!

Divisions

Beginner: V0-V3
Intermediate: V4-V7
OPEN*: V7+

*OPEN will be separated into male, female, and non-binary categories
with the top 6 climbers from each category from the modified redpoint round
competing in the OPEN Finals round

BEG & INT Climbers

Recommend checkin at: 1PM
Rules: 2PM
Climbing: 2:30PM – 5:30PM
Party starts: 5:30PM
Awards: 6PM

OPEN Finals

All other climbing will be CLOSED
during OPEN Finals

Open Finals start: 7PM
Awards & Comp End: 9PM

Costume Contest Info

Our costume contest starts at 6:30PM with two (2) divisions: an open division where everyone can join and an exclusive division for climbing competition competitors who competed in costume!

Climbing competitors may compete in both divisions, but can only win in one division so if you crushed it on the walls in costume and win that division, you can’t win the open division.

Our staff reserve the right to disqualify anyone from the costume competition so if your costume is offensive in any way, there is a chance you could be disqualified so please try and be respectful to the community.
